DESCRIPTION

Anderson Composites dry carbon fiber parts are manufactured by using pre-impregnated carbon fiber fabric and an autoclave. Pre-preg fabric is made by coating each specific weave with an appropriate amount of resin, this optimizes its strength and limits the amount of resin which significantly cuts down on weight. As a result, the prepreg is ready to lay into the mold without the addition of any more resin, vacuum sealed to remove all air between the fabric and mold and then placed into an autoclave to cure at high temperature and extreme pressure (removes impurities and strengthens the final product). Our dry carbon parts have a matte finish (aka dry) because the resin is not coated on the surface.

FEATURES

- Carbon fiber "skeleton" bonded to underside of carbon fiber hood for strength and support
- Mounts with OE hardware

SHIPPING NOTE:

Anderson Composites packs all products carefully to prevent damage during shipping. However, damage may still occur occasionally. Buyer must inspect the packaging and the products carefully upon receiving them, then accept the shipment and notate any damages and irregularities, such as crushed, torn, punctured, or broken parts on both the packaging and the product, on the freight bill or receipt at the drivers presence. Buyer must retain all cartons, packing materials, and damaged products for the carriers damage inspector to inspect. Do not refuse shipment or return it without approval, because the buyers right to make a damage claim may be denied. A signed receipt without any notation indemnified the carrier as well as Anderson Composites from any further damage claims. Discovery of damages after a clear delivery becomes the responsibility of the customer.
