Skunk2 Racings "Tuner Stage 2" Camshafts are designed as a performance upgrade to lightly modified vehicles running the 3 Lobe VTEC K20A/ K20A2/ K20Z1/ K20Z3 and K24A2 engines or cylinder heads. These camshafts will outperform HOT factory cam swaps (mixing OEM cams) and Skunk2 Tuner Stage 1 camshafts from idle to redline with no loss in drivability. A great match for vehicles with intake manifold swaps, light cylinder head work, small changes in compression, intake, header, and exhaust or motors that have been turbo/supercharged and running up to 14 psi of boost. Tuner Stage 2s require a simple valve spring and retainer upgrade due to the additional lift, duration and increased RPM range. Ideal for hot street cars and road race cars.

Our Tuner Stage 2s incorporate Skunk2 Racings cutting-edge Fast Ramp and AMAX features, which are responsible for increasing overall performance, producing unmatched response from idle to redline. You can expect optimized mid-range and top-end horsepower/torque with peak power moved up the RPM band, producing a seamless VTEC crossover!

Fast Ramp - The same technology used in Formula One racing, where seat timing is reduced, which results in additional cylinder pressure and more torque but without compromising valve-train longevity. AMAX - A Skunk2 design that simply maximizes the area under the lift curve but without compromising reliability or valve-train stability. Skunk2’s profiles feature more duration than competitors’ at lifts above 1mm, resulting in greater efficiency and more power.

Independent tests have shown average gains to be in the neighborhood of +22-25 horsepower with larger gains in mid-range to upper RPM horsepower and torque! Tuner Stage 2 cams are an easy install but we highly recommend checking all critical clearances and correct degree for peak performance.

Required - Alpha Valve Springs (Upgrade to Pro Valve Springs Under Boost), Alpha Titanium Retainers, and Engine Management.

Skunk2 Racing warrants all products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for normal use and service, regardless of mileage, for a period not to exceed 12 months from the original date of retail purchase. Parts returned must be determined by Skunk2 Racing to be defective prior to any warranty credit or replacement is issued. Skunk2 Racing's obligation under warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing, at its discretion, any part proven defective. The customer must prepay transportation charges. Final determination of the suitability of the products for the use contemplated by the buyer is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
